The international forum on facade engineering in Tashkent was attended by specialists from Uzbekistan, Russia, Germany, Turkey and Kazakhstan
On May 28, the First International Forum on facade engineering Facade Fusion 2024 was held in Tashkent.
Facade Fusion is an international forum dedicated to issues and trends in the design and construction of facades. The Facade Fusion Forum provides industry professionals with the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills on key topics related to the design, engineering, fabrication and installation of facades and building envelopes.
The organizers of the event were:
• AKFA Group (Uzbekistan) is a large industrial holding, which is one of the leading suppliers of products for facade engineering in Uzbekistan.
• Walter Engineering (Uzbekistan) is a company specializing in complex design, production and installation of facade structures.
• Schüco (Germany) is one of the leading manufacturers of facade systems in the world.
About 200 specialists from Uzbekistan, France, Russia, Germany, Turkey and Kazakhstan took part in Facade Fusion 2024. The special guest of the event was Dr. Jörg Westphal, Managing Vice President of Schüco International KG.
“The Facade Fusion Forum is an excellent platform for communication between developers, architects, facade engineers, contractors, building designers and manufacturers to see and understand some of the new technologies and solutions available for facades,” said Jörg Westphal.
Representatives of Russian companies Modern Glass and Larta Glass, Salavat Steklo (Kazakhstan), Walter Engineering (Uzbekistan) also spoke at the event.
The speakers spoke about the innovative solutions being implemented today in the production of facade systems, and also discussed the features of the projects being implemented. At the final part of the forum, a panel discussion was organized with the participation of heads of leading architectural companies in Uzbekistan
The international forum Facade Fusion is designed to encourage suppliers and developers of facade solutions to introduce innovations and offer new products to create trendy, safe and sustainable building facades.
