AKFA reconstructed the MEHR shelter

On April 6, 2024, Akfa Group organized a press tour of the Mehr shelter for homeless dogs, located in the Pskent district of the Tashkent region.
During the press tour, journalists and bloggers got acquainted with the work to improve living conditions for animals. Akfa Group provided assistance in organizing a new walking area on the territory of Mehr. This allowed the shelter's capacity to increase to 1,200 dogs.
As part of its own sustainability strategy, Akfa Group will continue to provide further support to the Mehr shelter.
For reference: The Mehr shelter was opened in 2021 on the initiative of Akfa Group. This is the first shelter in the country with veterinary and canine services, where homeless animals are treated, socialized and prepared for adoption.
